Traveling

Traveling across a sector may take several minutes. Two ways to decrease your travel time are modifying your Speed stat and using a vehicle. The terrain you travel over and the level of radiation you travel through can have an impact on travel time, too. Slogging through mud isn't going to be as fast and easy as walking across the desert, and it's harder to drive a sedan through a forest than a motorcycle. Traveling out of direction to avoid higher-radiation areas can increase your travel time. In general, choose your route and gear carefully. (Keep an eye on your survival gear! It will degrade with use!)

The Speed perk Fast everwhere and the Survival perk Fast in rads can reduce your travel time.
